Assistance for the Drinkards After the Fire

Recently, a tragic barn fire at the farm of Alabama HBPA President Skip Drinkard and his wife, Pat, killed 10 of their horses and destroyed the barn and a great deal of tools, tack, and equipment. It was the kind of experience that nobody should have to endure, and the Drinkards are working to pick up the pieces and move forward as they continue to care for the remainder of their horses.

The National HBPA Foundation set up accounts in the Drinkards' name with Breeders' Supply and National HBPA Sponsor Big Dee's Tack & Vet Supplies where donations can be made to help the Drinkards as they try to rebuild from this tragedy.

If you would like to donate to one of these, please send a check to:

1. Big Dee’s Tack & Supply
Attn: Jessica Roslan
9998 State Route 43
Streetsboro, OH 44241
Skip Drinkard, Account #: 308757 (in memo line & put a note with check)

2. Breeders’ Supply & Equipment Co. (Farrier tools)
P.O. Box 11608
Lexington, KY 40576
Skip Drinkard, Account #5233 (in memo line & put a note with check)

If you would like to make a donation directly to the Drinkards, please contact Laura at the National HBPA office for more information either via email at lplato@hbpa.org or by telephone at (866) 245-1711.

This is a perfect opportunity to be part of what the National HBPA stands for - horsemen helping horsemen.
