The 2010 Welfare and Safety of the Racehorse Summit was held on June 28-29 at Keeneland Racecourse. The summit concluded with the development of objectives to improve the overall safety and welfare of our horses and riders.
This was the third Welfare and Safety of the Racehorse Summit, an event that is coordinated and underwritten by Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation and The Jockey Club and was hosted by Keeneland Association.
Among the attendees to this year's summit was National HBPA CEO Remi Bellocq.
