Doering Elected Ohio HBPA President

Mark Doering, a ten-year board member of the Ohio HBPA, was elected as the organization's president on September 30 by a vote of the 12-member Ohio HBPA Board of Directors.

Doering takes over the presidency from Jim Yaegel, who has served the Ohio HBPA in that role since 2006 and did not run for re-election as president but will continue to serve on the Board of Directors.

Bob Reeves was re-elected as the executive vice president. Robin Schuster will serve as the Thistledown vice president, Butch Nemann as the River Downs vice president, and Steve Roberts as the Beulah Park vice president.

All officers were elected to two-year terms.
