National HBPA Fall Executive Commitee Meeting Gets Underway Tonight

The Executive Committee of the National HBPA (NHBPA)'s Board of Directors will meet tonight, Tuesday, October 18 and tomorrow, Wednesday, October 19 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Lexington, Kentucky. The National HPBA Executive Committee meets every Spring and Fall between the organization's semi-annual conventions.

Among the topics on the NHBPA's agenda will be an update on the current search for a new Chief Executive Officer, several medication-related issues, reports from the recent simulcast conference and the recent RMTC meeting, and discussion of the upcoming 2011 Claiming Crown. The $500,000 Claiming Crown will be held this year on Saturday, December 3 at Fair Ground Race Course & Slots in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The National HBPA's Executive Committee meeting is open to National HBPA affiliate officers and board members, as well as invited guests.
