The U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation held a July 12 hearing on “Medication and Performance Enhancing Drugs in Horse Racing” to examine the prevalence and use of medications and performance enhancing drugs in horse racing.
Among the eight panelists was Kent Stirling, executive director of Florida Horsemen’s Benevolent & Protective Association and National HBPA Medication Committee Chairman.
