The primary award presented at the luncheon is the prestigious White Horse Award presented to an individual who has performed an act of heroism on behalf of human or horse. Other awards that will be presented are the Tribute of Excellence, a posthumous award presented to an individual who was preeminent in the horse racing industry overall and the Community Service Award presented to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the welfare of those who work in the horse racing industry.
