Thoroughbred Charities of America Auction Underway
The majority of TCA’s seasons will be offered and sold during the online and telephone auction. Online bidding will continue through Friday, January 9 at 5 p.m. EST. Telephone bids will be accepted on Friday, January 9 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. EST. More than 200 seasons representing stallions in 11 states and Canada are available in the auction. A link to the list of seasons and bidder registration is available by visiting www.tca.org.
Fifteen seasons and all non-season items will be sold in the live Select Season Auction on Saturday, January 10. Bidders or their authorized agents may bid on the select seasons by attending the live auction in-person or they may bid on the select seasons during the online and telephone phase with the highest bidders earning the right to bid by phone during the live auction. For bidders that cannot attend the live auction but are interested in non-season items, absentee bidding is available.
The Select Season Auction will offer the following seasons:
Medaglia d’Oro (offered with a free return to the stallion in 2016 should a live foal not be produced)

Will Take Charge
All seasons will be sold on a no guarantee basis unless otherwise noted.

The Select Season Auction will celebrate 25 years of TCA and be hosted by Tom Durkin featuring music by Arthur Hancock and Friends. Graham and Anita Motion and CANTER USA will be honored with TCA’s annual Allaire du Pont Leadership and Industry Service awards. Tickets are still available may be purchased by visiting www.tca.org.

TCA was formed in 1990 to raise and distribute funds for charities in the Thoroughbred industry which provide a better life for Thoroughbreds both during and after their racing careers by supporting retirement, rescue, research and by helping the people who work with them. Over the last 24 years TCA has distributed over $20 million in grants to more than 200 Thoroughbred-related organizations. TCA is the charitable arm of the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA).
