Napier Resigns Post as National HBPA Western Region Vice President, Maus Steps In

It is with great regret that the National HBPA has accepted the resignation of Western Region Vice President Mike Napier. Mike has resigned as president of the Arizona HBPA, as well as a member of its Board of Directors.

In order to temporarily fill the Western Region Vice President vacancy, the National HBPA has asked Washington HBPA President Ron Maus to serve in that capacity for the interim period until our 2011 winter convention in Arkansas. At that time, the Western Region HBPA Affiliates will meet to permanently elect their vice president.

Arizona HBPA Vice President Gary Miller has succeeded Mike as that organization’s president. Joe Santanna recently met Gary while visiting the Arizona HBPA, and their Affiliate is in very capable hands. It is always amazing that when the leadership positions of our Affiliates change, the very talented person who leaves is replaced with another very talented person. We will always remember Mike Napier’s exemplary service to our organization and the Arizona horsemen, and we welcome Gary Miller into the National HBPA family.

The National HBPA has expressed its thanks to Mike for his service to the Arizona horsemen and horsewomen, as well as its appreciation for the contribution of his services to the National HBPA.
