The 2011 winter sales season is underway and both Keeneland and OBS posted solid results earlier this month. If you bought at one of those sales or will buy later this month at Barretts or at Fasig-Tipton in February, please make a note to participate in the NTRA’s ¼% Check-off program.
This voluntary program is an important part of the overall fundraising effort of the NTRA’s Legislative Action Campaign. For a $2.50 contribution per $1,000 in purchase price you help the NTRA’s Legislative team represent the industry on Capitol Hill.
From Internet gaming issues to capital gains sales tax treatment, the team works to improve the economic conditions for those who participate in horse racing. Please include the NTRA contribution designated on your invoice whether you buy in Kentucky, Florida or California this winter.
